Laufey
Designed by UJAMAA BAGETTES
A hard-working, crossbody or shoulder bag
AMMA is a hard-working, dependable bag that has a unique strap configuration allowing the bag to be worn crossbody long or short, on the shoulder, under the arm, or over the arm.
“AMMA” is Icelandic for “Grandmother” and the AMMA series of bags are named after the ancestors of one of our Bagettes.
Laufey was an Icelandic Canadian and twin sister to Svava, who also has a bag named after her. Laufey married another Icelandic Canadian and they raised a family of four in Gimli, Manitoba. She raised successful children with one son becoming the Lieutenant Governor of Manitoba.
LAUFEY is a perfect size for a water bottle, wallet and keys and has a unique strap configuration allowing the bag to be worn crossbody long or short, on the shoulder, under the arm, or over the arm.
Emmaline Bags sells BAGETTES patterns online, and all profits from these pattern sales go directly to the Grandmothers Campaign.
